How to Order

Welcome to Pontoon! We’re going to take a wild guess and assume that you’re looking for customised technical sportswear or casual attire for your club, team or group. If so, you’ve come to the right place!

If this is your first time ordering custom team wear or club uniforms it might all seem a little daunting, but don’t worry as we’ve made the process a straightforward one.

Let’s start at the very beginning. On the Pontoon website you’ll notice that there are three major options:

  1. The Pontoon Shop. If you want to buy some non-customised training kit, or would like to see the very latest in garment technology, visit the Pontoon shop. We have a wide variety of technically superior off-the-shelf products for your sporting and casual needs.
  2. The Pontoon Design Studio. If you want to design your garment yourself, this is the place to be. Choose a style, pick your colours and add your club/team logo. You can then post your design on your own team page, or buy the design right away

  3. The Pontoon Team Order Portal. The Team Order Portal is your very own purchasing system where your members can order and pay for the items you’ve designed, all online! We’ll even give you discounts based on the total number of individual orders received. We create a page for every customer that can be customised with your team name and logo. here.

Step One: Design Your Garments

After you have decided which of the above options suits your situation, you will need to go to the Design Studio (ADD LINK) to begin the ordering process. For detailed information on how to use our Design Studio, click here (ADD LINK)


Step Two: Place a Custom Order

    Option One: Ordering Direct

    We find the majority of people prefer purchasing through the Pontoon Team Order Portal as this is the quickest and easiest way to order with Pontoon. However, if you are unable to purchase through the Team Order Portal, then ordering direct with Pontoon might suit you better. For direct ordering you need to have your design finalised and send us the following:

    1. The approved design (either created by you in our Design Studio or a previous design)
    2. A completed Order Form
    3. Your shipping address (Please note: someone must be able to accept courier delivery during working hours)
    4. Any other relevant information, such as a requested delivery date

    We’ll then generate an invoice for the total amount of the order.
    For orders under $2000, we require 100% payment before going into production.
    For orders over $2000, we require a minimum of 50% to be paid upfront prior to commencement of production, with the remainder due prior to shipping the order. As soon as the deposit has been received, we will start production on your order.
    Please note, we start the order time frame on receipt of payment, and not when we receive the order. It is your responsibility to ensure this is paid promptly so your items go into production sooner.

    Option Two: Order Using the Team Order Portal
    The Pontoon Team Order Portal is the place where the bulk of our team orders are placed. You can open an order for your club, team members or a group of people to purchase items online via credit card at any time. Click here to find your club on the Pontoon Team Order Portal.

Step Three: Shipping Process

  • Orders are normally shipped 4 weeks after the spec sheet has been approved and the deposit has been received, or when an order window on the Team Order Portal closes and payment has been received.
  • Shipping time is on top of this so please allow an additional 5 - 10 working days on top of this 4 week time scale.
  • Keep in mind that the majority of items ordered are custom made. We do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible but please expect that it will take the full 4 - 6 weeks plus shipping time.
